You are right I didn't quote a particular post, in hindsight it would have been a lot clearer although i still believe it is generally a valid statement People will always feel the need to defend their decisions/purchases perhaps through guilt or maybe insecurity, i know i feel a little bit guilty that i have an extravagant item on my wrist, this in my opinion is one of the reasons why these brand battles are evident on here This is a watch forum you could label pretty much everything as overpriced, what is overpriced? How are values justified? Comparisons between any quartz and 'market' watches are no different to the SKX vs Submariner argument that angers so many I am not too precious to accept that many will, i stand behind my comment though that haters will hate because i have been here a while now ) GS fans do tend to get their knickers in a twist far too easily. Its funny i feel exactly the same way about other brands but i simply do not see the point in going there (so genuinely i don't) we all work hard to own what we own and i am certainly in no place to preach on how others should do so, this hobby is complete madness anyway so i personally don't see the point
It also doesn't stop me posting about them. Doesn't stop me liking many of them though. For me, I'll never own one, as I do think they are far too expensive, but that is my opinion. Boring could be too plain for them.īut with GS it's always a crusade.
Overpriced could be expensive in their mind. Some posters are not as good at others expressing words in written form. It's hard to tell where a comment is directed unless the response is quoted within.Īnything negative towards a brand can be opinion, not hatred.
